WMMLT.  Reading the comments on the news item that Staines wants to give a better impression to the public at large by changing its name to Staines on Thames.  :uglystupid2:

Best comment so far

Nottingham used to be called "Snottingham" but the conquering Normans couldn't pronounce "Sn", so dropped the S.

You can see why the good Saxon burghers of Scunthorpe fought so bravely.  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

how chuffed am I........

As some of you know I was made redundant at the end of May, and spent two months looking for work when I finally got a job on a four month contract which started in August and finishes in December.....long story short I was approached by the team leader of the contact centre that deals with calls from brokers (it's a small team of 4 at the moment but should be 6) I've been offered a permanent position  ;D ;D  once the contract finishes if not before so got a permanent job.....15% pension scheme, subsidised gym membership...9-5 with an hour for lunch...10 minute walk from home so no travelling expenses other than shoe leather....maybe just maybe late 2011 and all of 2012 will be mine and my wifes year fingers crossed oh and definately going to Richmond Park tomorrow and will either go to pullingers in the afternoon or on Sunday to get mount board stuff.....

congrats keith, a great weight off your mind...

  WMMFGT?

This comment on some pics I put on Facebook. It appears to be where the musicians I photograph hang out (Daddyo!). Up untill recently my face has remained "Unbooked".

Of course they'er all probably stealing my pictures, but I say that's better than them sitting on a hard drive unseen.

Nice work Graham.

WMMFGT! Just got back from the MRI scan; boy the noise they make sends me scatty. Yup, plenty of damage visible  :( so I have to take great care and caution to maintain mobility  :-\  - The best thing; Well twenty minutes after the scan I was discussing the damages with the duty doctor who then gave me the full CD and notes to enable 1. immediate diagnosis with my GP., 2 the Specialist Doc, and 3 my Physiotherapist can now see where exactly to promote hopeful healing. Of course this is France and the UK sort of sits back on the sidelines regarding Europe  ;)
