Thanks for the info Oldboy. I noticed the light tent on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Portable-Studio-including-Lights-Tripod/dp/B00140RTJU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1262532701&sr=8-2 ) a few weeks back for slightly more, so I think Maplins  will get some of my hard earned cash
