Red Crested Pochard (Netta rufina)

An amazingly coloured bird spotted in London that is not as easy to photograph as you might think.
The red cresting can cause the old AF a bit of an issue so time to select a focus point that locks onto the bill.

Thanks Beryl - a real intro the problems of shooting birds. A new appreciation for those of you who do so regularly
