Red Glory

After a really bad Friday at work I took the camera for a spin to Westminster. It was drizzling slightly around dusk time. I set up the tripod on Westminster Bridge and exposed for over a minute. The sky gave off a wonderful red hue, enhanced by the long exposure I think.

Now Ian! This is one rocking image! The sky is just brilliant and the reflections on the water are awesome. Love the composition , the ferris wheel adding to the impact ...just a fabulous image!

Blimey. I've never seen the sky that red before, especially looking east at that time of night.

Great shot Ian, I think Nancy's comments have said everything needed. Love the hues you have captured here. A real fiery shot. which white balance setting was you using to achieve that remarkable red.?

Cracking shot and detail with a great exposure. Very Happy I once went down Sandwell Valley just before day break with a grey sky but for about thirty seconds it turned a pinkish red. Very Happy
