Tunnel under Denia Castle

This tunnel was built under Denia castle in Roman times. It was used as an air-raid shelter during the Spanish Civil War. The 70 year commemoration plaque is outside the tunnel but I have inserted it to add context.

I was at Deniacatsle in June and did not know their was a tunnel under it/
