Vanishing Mushroom

'Vanishing Mushroom'. This mushroom belongs to the Coprinus family. Rising on very delicate white stems of up to 1cm diametre at their base,with the black caps ranging in size from 0.8 to 3.5 cm.

The growth is very swift, coupled with a rising sap that explodes out onto the cap's surface,and continues to flow before the whole fungi collapses (often under the weight of the fluid) to then disappear completely as quickly as it came (normally within 3hrs) as the emzymes it produces consumes all the tissues
