Stunning shot. These birds were close to extinction a couple of decades ago, up here in the Highlands due to piosoning/shooting by farmers protecting their livestock. Of course it was a myth that these majestic birds killed young livestock. Thankfully, due to re-education and a successful breeding program, they are now thriving.

Thank you. Yes these beautiful birds can't eve pick up a baby Rabbit legs are much too week to pick up farm animals . I think a mouse is about about the weight they could handle (by feet I mean) I'm so glad they are back . There are lots now in Oxford. We don't have them in Devon. There are still some people who think they can carry Piglets but they can't. I'm glad for the wildife program that as you say educate people
