You've picked the hardest subject to play with - but done a good job. For my money, a Tulip is one of the hardest flowers to photograph well - something i haven't achieved yet!

Thanks for the comment. probably an explanation of the lighting technique is required. The main light souce was a white LED placed inside the tulip, unfortunately I did not take into account the ambient light from a small overhead light into account. hence the hot spots, will give it another go this evening
