The softness and compostional placement of the spreading green stem complemented by the pink hues make this a truely spectacular shot my friend. I love the soft light and the composition in this image. The feeling of reaching towards the light seems very appropriate for your subject too. My thoughts to all those affected by this illness, directly or indirectly.
