Vintage

Another shot of my father's old camera. I used to use it as a child; it took paper film and you got eight photos (6x9) out of every roll. If you were crafty, you could squeeze another one out, if I remember correctly.

I had one of these of witch I saved all my pocket money and paper round money an bought it from Salansons in Tower Hill Bristol. Three weeks later it was stolen from our kitchen in the night. We didn't lock doors in them days, Broke my heart, that was at 12 years of age. Didn't then get back into photography until i was 19.

The one picture I took with it was of our Corgi dog--Pixie of which I still have a black and white print and recently scanned it into digital, Photoshopped it. Must put it into a frame. Looking at it always remind me of the camera. All my family and friends loved it too.

Thanks Tripod. It still is a great camera. A friend of mine took it out a couple of years ago, and was impressed with the quality of the photos. You must have witnessed the start of the decline of the 'honest society,' when your camera was stolen. When I was a kid, backdoors were always unlocked in the daytime, but I think they were probably locked at night.
