Great useage of the rule of 3rds Jan. The lead in from the large cracked lake bed, (I think it is anyway) and a super sky full of atmosphere. I must admit I find converting to B&W can be quite difficult at times as it's easy to over do the processing. You have achieved a nicely balanced scene here.

Cracking shot and vista. I think the B&W conversion works well.

I like the shot overall, Jan - a little more range from the darkest to the lightest would enhance it. Still a great shot, with excellent composition.

I agree with Bob, Jan - a little more contrast and tonal range would make it a better looking shot, though the composition is spot on. Cheers, Andrew.
