Cuckfield

This is a scene from the Sussex village of Cuckfield - home of the wealthy and with an extremely powerful residents association.
The village is very much preserved and i was after getting a picture with out a modern car and then try to re-create that old faded postcard look of village scenes taken in bygone days found in country village craft centres or post offices...

Mission accomplished! Love the nostalgic feel to this and the vignetting works well. Wonder how this would look in sepia?

I like the concept but it looks a little too "washed out " to me and so loses some depth to the scene.Maybe sepia would have been better Very Happy

yes - i've thought about sepia. I think maybe that will my next move. When doing this i was thinking of postcards i enjoyed looking at at Snape and Walberswick in Suffolk when i was much younger... Well - back to work - thanks for your input.

Well done for trying something different. Like the effect but appears to be some spots that haven't faded. Very Happy
