Love the effect here. Great composition, nice foreground interest. Good work.

Thanks! My Niece runs a big beach restaurant and asked me to come up with some pictures to hang there. Hence my Beach shots.

That'll look great hanging up. Hope you don't mind me asking, but where is the restaurant she runs? Only ask as we holiday in Netherlands twice a year as we love it. Is is Netherlands?

Where's the Beach Restaurant?

Thank you for the encouraging remarks, the beach pavilion is called the "Piet Hein" It is situated at the Dune crossing near Dishoek. Which is just North of "Vlissingen" on the former island of "Walcheren" in the Province of "Zeeland" There are three Beach Pavilions, called the "Kontiki", the "Piet Hein" and the "Vloed", They all belong to the same consortium of three young lads. To give you an idea of how busy these places are, the "Piet Hein" serves 300 main courses a day. Jedi I remember seeing a picture on this site from Zoutelande on the same island, was that from you??

We went to Port Zealande Center Parcs and this was right next to Beware beach. It was absolutely beautiful and we used the beach restaurant there a few times. I'm trying to work out where it was exactly.

I don't think that photo was from me Simple. We were very close but having loooked abt the map I don't believe we went there. Anyway, I have really enjoyed looking at your beach photos from Netherlands. Makes me want to go back.

I have stayed in Port Zealande in 1994 and 1998. My son learned to ride a bike there! If you ever go that way again, I can recommend going to the island of Walcheren. It is full of history and things to do.
