Madonna and child

WiFi playing up, so instead of sending a series of emails, I had a go at a photograph.

Ended up with this, which Hitler would have considered degenerate art, and it might have ended up among those paintings found in that flat in Munich!

Not so sure about this one R - don`t know what you are trying to convey withe the effect on faces. You keep experimenting though!

I'll be brutally honest. I just mixed a shot of cracked plaster, with one of a mother and child, and started playing around. At some stage I had a kind of 'Banksy' mural in mind, but couldn't get what I wanted. Ithought this one weird enough, to 'out' it in public and see what reaction it got, if any. It certainly has attracted a reasonable number of views, but so did Hirst's pickled animals. Which I hated by the way.
It vaguely reminds me of twenties/thirties work, but I cannot remember of which artist. Hence my reference to Hitler's 'Degenerate Art.'

Good on you for experimenting - I don`t go wacky enough these days

Time to revive your wackiness then! The 'Structures' comp, might be right up your street.
