Sorry to hear that Andy. It seems such a lovely place from the glimpses I've had of it. Hope you'll soon find an equally nice place, that suits your needs.

Yes, it is a little heaven with a small river running through and a seperate fountain spring that has never run dry in the last fifteen years. Just a shame that it is now too "hilly"for me. I will miss the Green woodpeckers that come up to the patio garden area.

There are 'all terrain' wheelchairs. Would probably be cheaper, than a house move, and give you loads more possibilities.

Some of the slopes are too steep for my micro tractor, plus the ground floor of the house is split levels where ramps would take up far too much room, especially with such a large family. We had no idea of what was ahead re my Parkinson's Disease when we bought the old farmhouse, and I have to consider the long term future.

In that case, you do not really have a choice. Hope you'll sell soon, and find something equally nice 'on the flat.'
