If you cropped the in focus background then it could be a impressionist painting. Great shot and well spotted. Very Happy

I don't like to be critical about other peoples shots but If you tried around F20 or F 22 or more on this type of shot you will see an amazing difference Forgot to say you will need a ND Grad to do it in such bright daylight.. Hope you don't mind.. Dave.. Very Happy I wish I could find a view like that around here , I am envious..... Laughing

Great shot and well spotted the only poppies I've seen were on A303 just passed Stonehenge (by the pig farm if anybody is out that way) impossible to stop there to take a shot at the time. Great shot though and could be fun to really play about with in Elements or CS.

Thx for comments all. I did intentionally create the foreground blur as that was the effect I was after. However on another website I also received comments indicating that more focus may be better -guess it's subjective but very interesting to hear so thx! The poppy field is near Isbtone in the Chilterns if anyone is interested
