Industrial Sunset

I had to wait till the sun had set and the lighting was like fire in the sky. Used an ND Grad to bring out the colour and layers. Old Wearmouth Colliery pit wheel, still at its original site, now outside of reception at Stadium Of Light, build on the original colliery site. To the right you can see a crane and both the crane and wheel are imprints of Sunderland's industrial pat. Crane's are now made where they once stood to build ships. Mining has been replaced by call-centres and car making.
