For me the focus is on the post behind rather than the wren Beryl. I`m convinced I`ve got this back focusing issue with my D7000 and am doing a test / calibration on my lenses today as a check. Unless you just missed it or I am seeing it wrong at this size

The focus is on the posts. The wren just happened to land there. I just like taking photos of rows of post the blur into the distance. The first post is close and meant to out of focus the second post is in focus the wren is in front by chance. There is nothing wrong with the focusing on the D7000. Just set it up before using it to your requirements. I think one or two people have had faulty D7000 . But I have had no issues with mine.

Ah right - focus spot on then. There has been an issue with the D7000 back focusing and I am sure there is one with mine. Made a few adjustments yesterday so will see how I go.
