Brillaint focusing. Just a thought - a lower f stop may have blurred the baklcground more and made for an even more powerful shot? Nonetheless an excellent action shot indeed

Thanks for your comments. roguesgallery, I agree with the lower f stop idea, but the 100-400L tends to produce soft images at anything less than f8. When I use my primes I try to shoot at f4. Oldboy, round here the crows and kites mob the buzzards and the crows also mob the kites. A good sight is a crow mobbing a female Goshawk,it only lasts a few seconds.
