It's nice, the black background works really well, but you cut off part of the rose. If the flowers are still there, have another go, and stand a bit further back, to get everything in the frame.

Thank but unfortunately they have now gone, I had not even give that a thought it was practice in loosing the back ground really and splash of colour

Well, something to think of next time. I also like the diagonal composition, something else to keep in mind next time. A black background works equally well with a single flower (or three or five: uneven numbers work best), so you do not have to wait till you have a 'full blown' bouquet again!

Thanks again for your comments and they are taken on board, as I can't really get around anymore I have set up a studio in our spare room and these pic's are the 1st to come out of it.

I am sure you'll get good results, as you can set things up the way you like, and are not bothered by the weather, for instance. But keep an eye on the composition, and make sure you get everything in the frame. Good luck!

composition is somewhere I have made mistakes with before but like you say I can now take my time to get it right (Try Anyway) thanks for your feedback always good objective comments thanks
