Poppy Drop

Went to the Old RAF base of Stubby near Alford Lincolnshire for the Strubby Memorial Dedication. Many, many 1000s of people attended (total chaos) with a fly pass of the Lancs, Spitfire and Red Arrows. Also a poppy drop from the aircraft pictured. Unfortunately the poppy drop failed. A number of people said the pilot dropped them several fields away, but I think this photo shows otherwise. My guess is the poppies were to tightly packed into the 'tube'. At least I got one poppy. :)
