Battle of Britain Flight

I was replying to Chris's (Jediboys) post in forums, Re: Aircraft Enthusiasts when I heard the unmistakable sound of 4 Merlin engines. I quickly picked up my D7 put on the 100-400L and dashed outside and managed to snap this.

Not quite so often as you may think Reinardina. As I'm getting rather long in the tooth I well remember the sound of these engines, as I was on the flight path for the many 1,000s that were on the way to Germany.

Oldboy, I was struggling to capture a merlin falcon in flight, so the blackbird would have proved impossible, especially if it was at cruising height
