Station Hotel - Loftus

This is a local pub! called the Station or Station Hotel.
i think it was opened originally in 1875 the same time as the, then new railway line was opened operating from Middlesbrough to Whitby.

Funny thing, looking at this picture. They must have used a standard blue print for station hotels the country over because i have seen so many and they nearly all look like this. A little lookedat part of our history!
