MPI Adventure

This is one from the archives. This vessel was in Sunderland (Hendon) Docks and it was an awesome sight on the coastal horizon. It's HUGE, absolutely HUGE, and is a turbine installation vessel. I wanted the 'milky water' effect that people either love or hate, the starburst from the long shutter speed and the beautiful Autumnal sunset. This shot did it for me. I hope it does for you too.

I find the contrast between the natural, baby pink sky and water, and the harsh, unnatural, man made structures quite striking.
