Badbae

The small monument that sits within the old settlement of Badbae (pr. bad-bay), a Highland clearance village which is sited on the coast of Caithness. Only the foundations and a few walls are all that's left of the houses in this small settlement. On the monument are the names of people who were forced from their land and homes during the infamous Highland Clearances.
