This is the CHAT THREAD

The ENTRIES THREAD IS HERE

Any processing is up to you.

Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 1st May, but if you are struggling this week one from your archive is fine.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 2nd May 2022.
Poll will be up Tuesday 3rd May 2022.

Winner to be announced Saturday 7th May 2022.

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

Err, we haven't had any rain for a couple of weeks and, according to Country file weekly forecast, none is forecast for this week.

You`ve got a tap though  ;)

The thing about SW France is that the winter/spring climate is not as clement as people think. April and early May are usually awful, and this year has been no exception so far. There is a car boot sale in a nearby village that is always held on the May bank holiday. It's a standing joke that there will be torrential rain and a freezing wind chill. Happens nearly every time. It's particularly draining because it can often be very mild, even hot, in January (third week sometimes hits mid 20s C) and March (not February). We've had the heating on this last week it's been so cold. And, as I might have mentioned, rather soggy.

In with an old one . Frozen water droplets on small moss shoots on top of a wall in a late snow / frost episode.

I was going to photograph the Sandwell well by the priory but no water was coming out from the Lion's head. It's comes from a spring under ground but we've had so little rain it wasn't coming out.  :'(
