Wildlife Camera

Hi,

Hope you're all well.

It seems we have a new and regular visitor tonour garden in the evenings - a fox. It seems friendly enough and it's actually quite nice to see it. My kids love it.

It has made me think that I should get a wildlife camera to leave  out and see what it captures. O have done some research, but wondered if anyone here has any knowledge or experience of them?

I did think about getting one a few years ago but decided against. Bushnell cameras I've considered in the past because they are used by professional nature photographers. But there are other makes as well.

I have looked at quite a few online.
I can get one for a little as £40. But I am inclined to get one that has an app sp I can get the footage straight to my phone. Just to make life a little easier.
But also interested in a 360 camera. Not quite sure why, but they look interesting and I haven't got one.
A classic case of need vs want!

I've got one, can't remember the make, and Apeman I think. Works well enough, weatherproof, eats batteries (does have a 12v input), and takes hundreds of pictures of the cat . . . although we did once get the tail end of a badger as it hurried by.

Night vision is obviously monochrome only. Well, if you pay less than £50, what can you expect?

We have 2 cats H so I anticipate the same issue.  Also looking at rechargeable batteries to try and keep the cost down in that department.
