I always think, it may influence people unduly, if they can see which entries are attracting most votes.

Probably not, as H calls it a glitch.

I don't think this is something you can set, when setting up the poll. I know you can choose to show the votes, before people vote (does this make sense?), but showing to everyone, except those who have signed in, must be an error.
