You gotta laugh don`t you! PR never delivered the promised improvements and like Bob I took off my bookmark long ago.

I still have it bookmarked on an old lappy I keep around for dragging with me on Holidays, when I do look at it I have a time remembering who, what, why?

The DCM site was very good – informative – friendly. A good number of active members too, many of whom advised PR to let DCM be! But no, the new kids on the block, knew better!

Requests had been made to update DCM to cope with its burgeoning success.

Not much was needed, as Mick has demonstrated with this site. Also, several of the regulars had hard nosed experience from which to offer advice. Had they let such people build a new site, it would still be going strong - and Stan would still be banned 

I do not engage in any aspect of the site or company nowadays. Very few people/ company's have the ability to produce something and convince people that was what they needed cos it owuld make their lives easier and fuller. And nothing about Future has a fruit in its name!

I would not go back to DCM full stop in any way shape or form or whatever they decided to call their site.....the only good thing that came out of it for me was that I got to actually meet some people... went on a Richmond Park shoot way back when....and that I got to know about this site....I use two forums this one and dyxum which is Sony/Konica/Minolta related stuff.....and that's it.....I like it here I've met people for real, been on shoots, been an unpaid assistant (good day though JR  ) and get helpful advice and constructive criticism....most of which is from people who WERE on DCM and scooted over here when it changed to PR.....Long Live Camera Craniums
