I have to use Royalty free music. Not every one's choice but sounds better than footstps clonking past and some one yelling oy to some one else

They always do that, as do all dragonflies. I think they feel your presents but can't see you so turn their head to focus better.  ;D

Oh Har :2funny:.

A dragonfly has thirty thousand lense in each eye. How can you focus  with that lot

Most of those lenses only detect movement/shadows so warning of a possible attack, but others can see without movement, By moving it's head it brings them into use. You can detect movement outside your line of vision but don't know what it is until you turn your head to bring it into focus.

Yes I know . They can keep very still and Camouflaged  and detect movement . They are amazingly fast a well some times they can outmaneuver a bird. I was watching a wildlife program where one was just not going to be eaten by this large bird

They had the same thing on Autumn watch, a dragonfly trying to avoid a Hobbie.  ;D

Beryl

Thanks Dave :)

Yes OB That was when I saw the dragonfly outmaneuver a bird of pray
There is also a BBC film on Dragonflie and it's fascinating .
