Farrier Hammer Motion Blur
« on: July 12, 2011, 06:38:22 PM »
Hi

Chris the farrier came to the farm, where Johns wife keeps her horses today, he was a really interesting guy, anyway I had a go at capturing the motion blur of his hammer, what do you think?

I like it a lot - a fine picture in its own right, and also a good record of how the job is done.

A little too much blur for even me (and I love motion blur). I guess some fill-in flash would've provided a touch more definition
Whatever and ever. Amen

For me the second one has more appeal, and in my opinion very nice compositional shapes and lines to hold the viewers eye.
