Polarizer vs. ND Grad

General query peeps, if you were going out to shoot some landscapes this weekend and could only pick up one or tother, would you buy a Polarizer filter or an ND Grad filter. It's going on a Sigma 10-20mm

Deffo be a grad for me as you can get a bit of unequal blue in bands on the sky with the siggy really wide. It`s happened for me a few times depending on light / sun angles. Not bothered me that much as I correct in NX2 but can be an issue. having just started using my D700 I must admit the 10-20 is the the one I already miss. I know I can use it at 5mp but it`s not the same and I`ll be using it with my D80 still. Have a good shoot

For landscapes a ND grad would make more sense.

Not an easy one, but I feel an ND grad can often be simulated afterwards in software if you get the exposure right. I recently used a polariser to remove some very annoying strong reflections of lit-up yellow road bollards from the large glass area of a bus shelter. Easy done during the taking but probably impossible to edit out afterwards. So I'd go for the polariser in spite of the problems I often have with it for skies.
