Sorry you won't be there Andrew, though I'm sure you'll have fun with the family. Those times are fine for me - I'll be there unless told otherwise. Look forward to catching up (almost) with everyone.

Yes, looking forward to it. 3 days and nights of an 18 month old grand son who has just discovered he has the ability to speak and express an opinion.
Also, he has concluded that his role in life is to be an adventurer    Nothing is safe from chasing down or investigated.

Proposed travel arrangements

My daughter is now coming down for Easter with grand son so i will now sadly not be attending - but this makes travel arrangements easier.
For those attending, i would propose catching the 10:43 from Clapham Junction (10:33 from London Waterloo) to Kingston - arrival time 11:16. Here, if the offer is still available, Alan can pick you up and whizz you down to the exhibition at which point you can enjoy some great shots and also get in a bit of socialising and photography!

Those that are making the trip, if you stick to Andrew's travel proposals, I'll meet you outside Kingston station at 11.15. We can then walk through to the 'phone box sculpture for Sandy to get her shots, and of course anyone else who fancies it. From there we'll go to the exhibition.

After that it'll be up to the group which way you want to go, up stream back to Kingston 1.5 miles or downstream to Richmond 2-3 miles approx.

One other alternative is Bushey Park and Hampton Court. I can drop you off in Bushey Park, which is next to Hampton Court, where you can make your way back home via Hampton Court Station, straight into Waterloo.

Anyway let me know how these arrangements suit you. Since Martin is a local he may want to make other arrangements.

Alan, Ann Smith gave the RTPS exhibition a big plug at KCC last night, I reckon a few people will go, maybe Old Tom will put in an appearance as well  I am aiming to get there on the 10th April if work/life doesn't get in the way...Hope it all goes well for you and hope all you guys (and Gals) have a great day on Friday

Sorry to report the weather forecast for the Kingston area for Friday is pretty grim, HEAVY RAIN

This may alter, but if the forecast persists to be the same, perhaps a quick roll call on Thursday evening will finalise attendance. I can provide some tea and biccies but not sunshine. Leave it until Thursday evening then.

I'll be getting there under my own steam because my wife wants to make it a bit of a day out  a walk and some lunch or whatever so I hopefully see you all at the exhibition itself
