D700 firmware update

Don't know about the D700, but with the D3 Nikon send you an email with the infomation.

  As OldBoy says. If you register the camera with Nikon they send send you emails about such things.

Found out where, but for some reason it won't work.

I went to this page to creat an acocunt

filled everything out, clicked "continue" at the bottom, but nothing happened. Tried going through "help" to create a new account, but was told "page not available".
