Sports Photography - Monsall Head, Derbyshire THIS WEEKEND!

As well as a keen photographer I am a very keen cyclist. This weekend my club are organising the Monsall Head hill climb in which cyclists are set off at minute intervals and aim to set the fastest ride up Monsall Head. If you want to take photos of sportsmen giving it all this weekend may I suggest that you head there... The road itself will be closed but there should be a fantastic atmosphere as well as general 'phere of riding up a steep hill. For more info please go to http://www.monsalhillclimb.org.uk/

Fortunately I am not competing unfortunately I move house the day before and believe my wife will have my tender parts if I do anything other than unflatpack the flatpack!!

               Exelent food, even better beer! We usually book into one of the rooms with a balcony.
               I'll see if I can get there this weekend.

Was there back in August for the first time. Wouldn't fancy walking up it, let alone riding up it!

        Well I dragged the wife and dog up to Monsall and it was wonderful! It Peed it down but there was a great turn out and a really happy atmosphere.

Graham, awesome pics. Thanks for attending... I was stuck with flat pack and trying to identify what shade of paint the previous owners of my house had used!

The guy in the top one is in my club, if you have many more of those the club may be interested in them???
