Hey Jonathan, what are your initial thoughts on the D3?  Does it meet, or even exceed your expectations?

Exceeds.  By a long way  ;D

Very very fast (compared to, say a D2X) and gives lovely files.  Haven't really played with the raws yet because the jpegs are so nice  ;)
