Beaux, not sure what you want when you say "It is about time for the big players to produce a Travelers Mega Zoom lens that will satisfy this obvious demand".

The Sony that i have referred to above is a 24-600, would be nice if there was a 10-400 or there about but cannot find one. 600 is way too  much for what i want and as said would prefer something wider at the lower end but i have to look at a compromise i think.

I would love a 20-500 and or 30-700  Mega Zoom lens to suit the Fuji X-T1 ; either or similar would suit my needs when adventuring in the countryside.

As bridge cameras prove, there is market potential for such diversity in wide to long reach, that would not undermine but complement the market for DSLR & Primes.

This is on Ebay NO RESERVE however if anyone can direct anyone leading to the sell of this i will part company with it for £1000:00 all up, now i think that is a bargain.

Well thats it, sold the lot today so now cameraless for a week or 2, have i done the right thing, who knows, only time will tell.

I agree but hopefully i can now move on, it is all to do with travelling and only wanting one "do it all" camera, hope i have made the right decision, pick the new beast up on Wednesday.
