E-ttl flash v i-ttl flash

The E-ttl flash is for Canon cameras whereas, the i-ttl is for Nikon. You can't mix flash guns from different companies as the trigger voltage may vary and could fry the electronics in your camera. If you buy third party flashes then you must buy the version for your model of camera. Your camera has a built in flash which should do you for the moment.  8)
