As the year draws to a close how about a thread to show others your favourites of the photos you've taken this year. Add them here and perhaps say why you like them - I'd suggest a maximum of perhaps 5 per member. Should be a good showcase if everyone adds something.

Good idea   May I suggest you lead the way ?

Decided to go with one of mine to get things going. Reminds me of warmer days back in our brief summer.

Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey, North Wales. ( Also known as Lovers Island ) Long trek to the island carrying more gear than I actually needed but happy with the end result.

This is probably my favorite for the year. It was taken at the 'now demolished' Harold Wood Hospital the day before the demolition crews were due to move in.
This was also the first personal shoot i'd arranged and was rather keen to make something of the Morgue - because that's not a venue you get to shoot with every day.
As for the gun - it was an impromptu prop from one of the security personal, it done the job!

Here's one my favourites of the year. Going back again in February to try and get the sun set. Plus a bit of cricket.

BOOZE!!! Helping ugly people have sex.

The theory seems to be that as long as a man is a failure he is one of God's children, but that as soon as he succeeds he is taken over by the Devil. H.L Mencken.

Here's mine, this is from our club outing to the dockland district of Dublin.I like the icy look to the river and the contrast of the bridge against the dark sky.

Might have been drinking it before the design stage?

One of my favourites - mostly because it was a fantastic trip.

hevans

One of the few opportunities this year to get the camera out creatively. Loads of kids and holiday snaps, but I wouldn't want to turn into a Ritchie.

Picsfor: keep taking the medications...ok?!  :o
Jim: lovely. I can see why you want to return.
Angelfire: looks like fun...who washed it afterwards?  ???

Now if that had been a certain German waterway, you could have given up the day job!

Hevans, that was in the Pyrenees - not my car as it happens, but mine was there - the mud washed off actually. :(

My car is currently covered in mud from a days laning on Salisbury Plain a couple of weeks ago - might get washed soon - but not this weekend. Next year perhaps :)
