Having problems telling the difference between species of birds and owls? These 2 free iTunes apps (for ipod touch, ipad, iphone) will show you pictures of the birds as well as let you heard the different sounds they make. It can tell the difference between male, female and offspring. Plus they have a ton of other things like what they eat, post your own sightings, etc. Both apps are for North America but a lot of the birds can also be found in many other countries across the world.
