The image "Pink" was chosen by last weeks winner, rksmith51 aka Bob.  Lovely pic Janet, and a worthy winner. 

On choosing this weeks image, Bob said,

"Now that spring is here I think this super shot would be nice to remind us."

Just a question Lurkalot, I thought image of the week was a Photo taken in the preceding week and not one taken months ago?

Image of the week can be chosen from any image in the gallery.  Only exception is it must not have been chosen previously for IOTW.   It's then displayed for a week.

That said, this might change as some members that have pics in the gallery no longer visit the site.

Good point Craig.  There's a link below the image of the week that should take you to all the previous images of the week.  Previous IOTW winners 
     
Unfortunately there's no easy way to know, other than trawling through them.  That said, each image that is in that category should have a keyword added "cciotww"  So if you don't see this when choosing your image it should be ok.
