Dave, I must admit it caught my eye, but I'm very busy this week with non-photographic things and on Saturday I'm off to Devon for a week. I expect I'll bump into some members down there, it seems very popular.
We're staying in a favourite haunt of our, a thriving village called Beer, might be in the Anchor most evening!

There's a village called Beer? Why wasn't I told, I love Beer.

Even better, there's a place in friesland called sexbierum, where the dutch for beer is bier. There you go, sex and beer in one town.

Hope you enjoy the Anchor. I am sure they sell famous stouts or mild beers which are " Black & White "  Out of interest I had a look on google street view of the Anchor at Beer, looks a very nice spot and I am very envious. Here is our local Anchor which is nowhere near the Sea, Lake, Canal or even a stream ? ..

Actually been there a couple of times, long time ago now though. I can't remember if the Anchor is the place we stayed - if it is, I hope the food is as good as it was then!
