Canon 7D has a strange sense of déjà-vu.  Ooops.
It's Guest's round

Sorry folks, it's the default theme on here, it doesn't show the links too well.  I've made bold and underlined Jonathan's link in his post above.  ;)

  Oh now I see it.
Well not sure about déjà-vu, but I've a feeling we've been here before!

Ooops.

I didn't know anybody used the default theme ;)

Funny that Canon acknowledge the fault but BJP can't replicate it.  I'm sure a firmware upgrade will fix it.

Does seem to say that the exposure has to be off - perhaps they get that right at the BJP :)

I missed that bit.  Sounds like it's a very faint ghosting.  I guess they aren't zeroing the memory fast enough.  Also you wouldn't tend to notice it because high speed bursts would generally look pretty similar anyway.

New firmware has been released that is meant to fix this one.

Hope they have!!

I`ve done the update, although TBH, I never experienced the original issue either!

Heh... that doesn't happen with real cameras...

I guess you're talking in seconds per frame rather than frames per second with that antique!  :2funny:
