Struggling with this rather. I am wondering what is meant by 'unusual perspective'. Is it a trompe d'oeil? Or a scene from an unusual point of view?

As broad & long - open to your interpretation. It could be an unusual point in view, optical distortion or illusion, or even 'an ice cube bobbing about in the frying pan' ; although if trying to create an unusual perspective shot as in the latter please take necessary precautions to ensure no harm ensues
