CHAT - ABSTRACT Weekly competition 6/11/16 to 13/11/16

This is the CHAT thread!!

Theme for this week is ABSTRACT. There are some but not many abstract pictures in our galleries. I enjoy looking at abstract photography because there is a puzzle trying to find out what was photographed.
Take Urban Abstract, Portrait Abstract or any type of abstract you can think of and if you feel you want to post-process it, then please go wild.
Pictures to be taken preferably between now and Sunday 13th November 2016, 23:59, or enter one from your Personal / Camera Cranium Archives if you prefer. Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 14th November 2016. Poll will be up Tuesday 15th November 2016.

Winner to be announced Saturday 19th November 2016.

Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted (or earliest archive shot if applicable) wins.

Here's my effort:

The base image was a close up of the tap in a washbasin, with a high contrast but blurred image of some teazles overlaid. The main deconstruction was done with ACDSee Pro 10, and the remaining editing and layering was done with Serif's Affinity Beta release and colours enhanced with Topaz Restyle.

I have done quite a lot of 'creative editing' in the past, but I don't believe I've ever used so much software on one image!
