Hello all

[Offertonhatter]

Not got an avatar yet, but hello anyway.

I live in Stockport, and I am a proud Pentaxian, which probably makes me part of a quality group
Although I was a film shooter of and on since I got my first SLR in 1985 (A Praktica MTL5B which I still have), it was only when I  bought my first AF SLR - Pentax MZ-5n -  and then my first DSLR, the underrated *istDS, that I really got back into the art. I am still learning, and hopefully I will be inspired by this forum.

My current Kit includes, the aformentioned Praktica and DS, along with the K10D and K20D bodies, a rolleiflex, a Bronica and various compacts from Ricoh, Fuji, Olympus, Halina and Samsung.

Welcome to CC a troll free zone . Hope you enjoy the experience

Nice to meet you.

Glad I'm not the only Pentax owner here anymore (although Veggie's exquisitely engineered and beautifully made by dedidcated artisans GX20 counts too, just a different badge).

You can safely ignore the 'more money than sense' cankon mob on here, they haven't got a clue. I reckon the going rate for a label that says cankon is about £300 at the moment, the cameras are extra.

Blue touch paper lit . . .

Quite right too.

Irv,

You mean like sheep being herded by sheepdogs?

[Offertonhatter]

Thanks for the hello all. And to Mark, cheek!
