I thought it was a remarkably unclever article as anyone could put a similar one together:

10 {insert discipline in which you're going to be an "expert"} you should ignore

1. {insert name of someone well known in that discipline}
{insert name of someone well known in that discipline} should never have been born, let alone gone into {insert what (s)he's good at}. Now we have millions of total idiots who are trying to emulate {insert specific} and all they come up with is poor pastiche. Get over it, Lemmings and jump off a cliff 

2. (well, you get the picture.........)
