A couple of days ago (22nd October 2009) A new vesrsion of DPP, version 6.7.2 was released. software.canon-europe.com (http://software.canon-europe.com/)
----Changes from Digital Photo Professional 3.7.0----
Supports additional models
The EOS 7D, PowerShot G11, and PowerShot S90 are now supported.
Adds an NR Preview screen (NR: Noise Reduction)
You can now adjust the NR level while checking the image status on the Preview screen.
Maintains the [Collection] window
Before, when quitting Digital Photo Professional, all images in the [Collection] window were removed from the [Collection] window; however, this has been improved so that the images in the [Collection] window can now be maintained.
Addition of new lenses that support the aberration correction function.
Newly supports the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, EF-S15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, and EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS.
Cautions on Use
If you use the Digital Photo Professional 3.7.2 remote capture function, it is also necessary to download the latest version of EOS Utility.
Sounds a worthwhile improvement. Wonder why they didn't wait a couple more days and add the MkIV - unless they are still tweaking it - as there will have to be another release in a couple of months.
I guess they shipped the camera with its own version and the nr function was probably brought in for the 7D and mk4, so they just need to add those bits to all the older models versions ?
