All week whilst the last comp was running I had glorious sunsets and kept saying to myself "Must get out and shoot one" Of course I didn`t so when the chance came to set a theme I thought right make myself! Of course since then they`ve been non-existent in the driving rain and cloudy skies so old re-worked one incoming from me.

Taken a few of years ago at Fairport Convention`s Cropredy Festival. The sky was on fire and I sent a few prints of some of these shots to Ralph McTell who was later performing at Leeds City Varieties with a request for me and Sue on a romantic song he does (Grand Affaire). We attended with a friend and he got the names slightly wrong and they laughed refusing to believe it was my request he`d got a little wrong as it was so personally aimed at us. As he signed stuff in the bar later I dragged Sue up to him saying I`m the guy who sent you those Cropredy Sunset pictures - can you confirm that was my romantic request. He did so and asked for permission to use some of them on his social media / website which were up there for a year or two. Biggest hands and strongest handshake I`ve ever held / felt and what a guitarist / performer he is. He even recognised me at the next Cropredy after that when he dropped in and bought me a pint at the bar!!! If only you could prove you were right by dragging the actual person in during an argument!!!
Same here. All I saw was cloudy skies all week. :'(
Bugger all here too.
Mine was an old one too. Barely touched the camera this week and no seen a decent sunset or sunrise.
