GETTING READY
Christmas is just a few weeks away now and I am trying my best to get ready for it. We are also moving house very soon, so also getting ready for that.
So the theme this week is GETTING READY, whether it be Christmas, a meal, a day out, a photo shoot, anything you want as long it shows you getting ready.
Anything goes re: processing.
Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 13th December 2020 but if you are struggling this week one from your archive is fine.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 14th December 2020.
Poll will be up Tuesday 15th December 2020.
Winner to be announced Saturday 19th December 2020.

A re-work of a shot from what should have been the last wedding I covered as a "professional". My own daughter`s! So many people told me not to do it but so pleased I did as I got the chance to spend the whole day with my gorgeous daughter from preps through to the leak up! My speech did suffer a little through a combination of nerves, emotion and more emphasis on my photography than learning my lines. I wouldn`t have missed doing it for the world. Will I do it for my youngest`s if it ever happens ... not so sure.

Of course when a friend asked if I could later do her daughter`s family I initially resisted until she told me it was in Ronda and insisted it was paid with all expenses and a one week villa stay out there in Spain. That was my last and 2nd best gig, after my daughter`s!
Another archive from me. The 'stage' for my usually annual getting the band back together shindig. It may turn out to have been the last one. I despair of our fascist rulers ever stopping their headlong destruction of our societies and economies. Congratulations China, you've won. We're finished. Over a virus with a 99.7% survival rate and average age of fatality higher than life expectancy. If I didn't have responsibilities to others I'd kill myself.

Yes all very disheartening. Whilst I`m not with all the conspiracy theorists I do sometimes sit and wonder why , when I`m in a top tier area supposedly riddled with covid I have still only known 2 people to have had mild cases from all the people I know in Leeds. It has been mishandled from the start so far here in the UK learning nothing from other experiences abroad and stuttering from lockdown to tiers to open house for Christmas.
I take it the title of the comp is wrong - in that it says 13/12/20 to 19/12/20 and in the body it says to 13th Dec ;)
Sorry if I have messed the dates up.
Photo needs to be taken by midnight tonight and entered by midnight tomorrow.
I'm confused! is the comp themed "Christmas" running and ends tomorrow?
